LittleEcoFootprint – June Review

LittleEcoFootprint – June Review

Last month I missed out on the LittleEcoFootprint box. A mistake occurred and it resulted in not receiving May’s Box. I was planning on unsubscribing for a little while anyway and then come back, but after just missing one month I wanted to get it again. If you’re not familiar with them this is what they’re about. Each month your LittleEcoFootprint membership box will contain at least 5 of the highest quality products ranging from cosmetics, personal care and wellness, organic foods, safe and non-toxic toys, and natural home care. This is one of the few subscription boxes like this available to Canadians.

Monthly membership is: $29

3 Month Plan: $87

This month's theme was Beach Time Fun. It’s summer time folks, we spend more time outdoors and we need to stay healthy and protect ourselves from the sun.

This set provides hours of sand molding fun in the sandbox or at the beach and quick clean up, as the molds store neatly in their turtle “shell”.

This set is so cute! My boys love the park (what child doesn’t?!) and these toys are going to get a lot of use. They are already enjoying playing with this. We haven’t even used them at the park yet - they’ve been playing with them indoors.

Priddy Books - At The Beach
$7

Priddy Books - At The Beach

In At The Beach, babies will find a bright red pail, a sparkling orange starfish, and a shiny green and purple striped swimsuit in this first words book that features die-cuts and eye-catching foil. A beautiful way to bring scenes from everyday activities to life!

It's a fun and colourful little book. My younger son loves to just turn the pages in books. This has been keeping him entertained. The book is very thick so he can’t easily tear the pages.

Bell Buttons & Babies Sunscreen (SPF 30)
$7 / 2oz

Bell Buttons & Babies Sunscreen (SPF 30)

Belly Buttons & Babies is a safe, non-toxic and non-whitening sunscreen solution great for the whole family with simple ingredients, that goes on nice and blends remarkably.

Ok so I have a huge issue with sunscreens. It is an absolute necessity for children and well everyone really, but I hate how it’s either too greasy, too smelly, too thick, or doesn’t absorb well. I have encountered only one sunscreen that I can tolerate. So with this one I wasn’t expecting to like it, but guess what? It’s actually pretty great! First of all there is no odour, I mean nothing! I applied some on to my skin and couldn’t believe it, it absorbed quickly, it isn’t thick and didn’t leave a greasy residue on my skin. I might just have found the best sunscreen ever! (As long as it does its main purpose well too, of course.)

EcoParent Magazine - Summer 2013 Issue
$6.99

EcoParent Magazine - Summer 2013 Issue

EcoParent is a great magazine covering everything from health & beauty, parenting, travel, food, fashion and more. I enjoyed the articles they had on happiness. You should check this magazine out.

LittleEcoFootprint - June Review

Also included was a $5 off coupon for shopsorad.com. A Canadian based business offering eco hip, luxury clothing for babies and toddlers.

All in all a decent box this month. A value of over $47. Everything will or has been used, so I’m quite satisfied. Have you subscribed to LittleEcoFootprint? What do you think of this box? Please consider using my link to sign up.
