The Welcome Box includes the exclusive lab notebook, activity manual, safety glasses, magnifying lens, pipettes and forceps, and a terrific assortment of experiments and projects. Your second box and beyond includes a collection of skillfully curated science and technology activities and supplies.
You have an informative welcome activity guide that includes experiment instructions and secret formula activities on how to make galaxy slime and playdough. You also get a lab book to record all your notes from your experiments and observations.
The experiments are all divided up, each in its own Ziploc bag. I love how organized it is.
This is the Brine Shrimp experiment where you will hatch and raise your own brine shrimp.
This is the root observation experiment. You will assemble a root observation station and grow and plant.
This is a nature project that involves learning how to polish prehistoric amber.
This is an engineering project where you will build a brush bug bot or Vibrobot, a simple category of robot that is controlled by a single vibrating (eccentric) motor.
They've included a pair of safety glasses and a small magnifier.
You will get some surprise items too, like this survival compass that you can wear around your neck and eraser.

Club SciKidz Labs is a fantastic box for children! My son is very interested in science so this was the ideal box for him! So far he's done the brush bug bot which wasn't difficult for an 8-year-old. He loved that there were many experiments and can't wait to complete the rest. I thought this box was very well put together and had so much to offer. It's definitely one of the best science boxes I've reviewed. Well worth it for the budding young scientist!
