Épices de Cru Vinaigrier Sumac
$6.25

In the Middle East, sumac is used the way vinegar or lemon juice are used in the West. It can be sprinkled on meats prior to grilling. Particularly good on lamb. Sumac also complements many salads, especially those containing onions or tomatoes. It is a key ingredient in the Lebanese salad fattouche as well as the spice blend zaatar.

The Coffee Lab House Blend Medium Roast Equilibrium Coffee
$5.50

The Coffee Lab's hometown blend, as beautiful as the city for which it is named and roasted in. The perfect marriage of creativity and scientific sense, this medium roast coffee has a balanced acidity and a well rounded, full-bodied flavour. A great everyday blend.

Jules and Kent Basil Pesto
$10

This concentrated take on traditional basil pesto is rich, aromatic, and very versatile. Dapple overtop crostini, cheeses, and pizza, stir freely into pasta sauces, or thin it slightly with fresh EVOO and brush over seafood before grilling. Accents of parsley and lime give this pesto a lively, unique flavour and a bright mouth-feel.

Olive the Senses Lemongrass Mint White Balsamic Vinegar

Sweet, tangy lemongrass with the crisp scent of mint, it's so fresh and lively! A perfect match for Thai cookery, this balsamic springs to life when combined with fresh Thai chilies and cilantro. Add it to noodles, salads, and seafood.

Olive the Senses Peranzana Fresh Extra Virgin Olive Oil
$7

The Peranzana is a medium-sized olive, and the oil it produces is low in acidity with a very balanced flavour and  rich complexity. The Peranzana was originally brought to Italy from Provence.

This Table Gourmet Box Review – August 2016

The total value of this box is $35.75. I didn't feel like the theme of the box correlated with the items and the recipes were all so random. This is more of an experience box so I don't expect the value to be high, but I think it's too low, even if shipping is included in the price. I liked most of the products, especially the coffee and EVOO, but overall I wasn't overly impressed by this box. I do consider myself somewhat of a foodie, so I can see other foodies enjoying this box.
