August's Snakku box features a variety of unique snacks from Hokkaido, Japan.

Jaga Pokkru
These baked french fry snacks from Hokkaido are extremely popular. They are made from locally grown, organic Hokkaido potatoes and kettle baked with sea salt from the Saroma inlet sea. The name of the snack comes from “Koropokkuru” which is a native Ainu word for “forest fairies”.

Kinotoya Milk Cookies
Made in Hokkaido’s prestigious Sapporo Agricultural College, these milk cookies are made with 100% natural and organic milk. The quality of the ingredients really show, since these cookies have won the International Monde Selection award 3 years in a row!
Morinaga's Milk Caramel
These caramels come with a long history. They were already available in Japan a hundred years ago in the Meiji period. They are made from 100% quality Japanese milk and are enjoyed by both adults and children.

Sapporo Curry Senbei
This curry rice cracker is made in collaboration with a famous curry restaurant in Sapporo, Hokkaido. All of the ingredients and spices are locally sourced and it's full of umami!

Toukibi Chocolate
Puff corn snacks drizzled with Japanese chocolate and infused with freeze dried strawberries from Hokkaido.

Melon Langue De Chat
A limited edition snack that you can only get a few times a year in Hokkaido. These delicate butter cookies are filled with chocolate and infused with Yubari melon juice. Yubari melon are famously considered one of the delicious fruits in Japan.

Melon Thunder
Hokkaido limited edition chocolate wafer snack covered with melon puree.

Melon Jelly
Seasonal jelly from Hokkaido. Make sure to chill these before eating. Or try them frozen!

Yubari Caplico
Another exclusive Hakkaido snack! This popular caplico cone snack is filled with freeze dried melon puree.

Another interesting box of snacks! There were a lot of snacks that featured melon which I've not experienced from Snakku before. I'll be sharing most of the box with friends and I'm curious to see what they think of the selection of snacks. It's a fun box to sample snacks that are from another part of the world that you can't get here.
