ShirtPunch T- Shirt - Labyrinth
$10
One of a few movies the late-great David Bowie starred in. Labyrinth was directed by Jim Henson and produced by George Lucas. This was the last film for Jim Henson before his death in 1990 and did not do well in the theater. It has since gained a strong cult following. It’s inclusion in this month’s box is proof of that. Nice Shirt and anything with Bowie is a hit with me.

Back to the Future Luggage Tag
$20
I travel quite a bit and I love having a unique luggage tag. This is no exception with a visit to the past. This is a Back to the Future time circuit from the dashboard of the Delorean. Very good quality with a thick rubber tag and on the flip side a place to write your personal information. This one is bound to stand up to some travel time and is obscure enough that most people won’t get the reference and then want to take it off your hands.

Masters of the Universe M.O.T.U.S.C.L.E.
$6
This Masters of the Universe MOTUSCLE Mini-Figure Pack contains 3 mini-figures including Battlecat, Fisto and Orko. These are rubber figures that stand about 2 inches tall. I was never a big fan of Masters and I know that may be shocking to some of you. All I can do is ask your forgiveness. I needed to ask a friend who the characters that I got in the package were. She said I didn’t deserve such a treasure.

Vault of Simpsonology: Bart Simpson’s Manual of Mischief
$20
This little treasure was released on March 18, 2014. Can you think of a more devious prankster other than Bart. He has terrorized his neighbourhood, his family and even his pets. No one is safe from this path of mischief. In this volume Bart will share his most guarded secrets. This book is full of inserts and special features, including removable "Sneaky Hall of Fame" cards and a booklet on the complete art of the prank phone call. There is a possibility to get one of four books in the collection. The artwork is colourful and it makes a campy coffee table book. The book is hard cover as well and very good quality.

Ghostbusters Art Print
An 8 x 11 exclusive print. Yes, another Ghostbusters collectible. In my opinion it is not all that special. A closer inspection shows that this is created by the illustrator Fredrik Eden. Sorry, doesn’t ring a bell. I did visit his website. His art is awesome!

Lord of the Rings - Eye of Sauron Snow Globe
$15-$20
I see collectors are already snapping up the eBay offerings of this prize. Keeping an eye over Middle-Earth, the Eye of Sauron is an impressive exclusive.

When shaken, the red and black flakes make an obvious impression. My only complaint is that they really do not stay suspended for very long and the Eye itself seems a bit rushed by the craftsman or machine. A solid piece nonetheless.

When there are so many choices in geek boxes out there, you really need to hit the mark with your offering. It has to be something unique that separates yourself from everyone else. I found that the Classic Block was just what it was advertised to be. So in that respect much like everyone else. Where Nerd Block seems to shine is in the what it offers in the variety of other boxes that you can subscribe to. Horror, Sci-Fi and Arcade Blocks are just a few other choices. Nerd Block is the only one offering a Horror box. I thought that was interesting. The quality of the items was very good but I do admit that not everything appealed to me this time around. The value of the items is unbelievable. I may be mistaken but when I tried to price the items out, they well exceeded the cost of the subscription box. Wow! This makes me want more Blocks.
