I love that Lip Monthly has switched over to these fabric makeup bags. One side has a patterned print and the other side has Lip Monthly printed on it. Personally, I disliked the old plastic ones. They always had an odd smell.

I received this exact product in the August 2016 Lip Monthly. It's a pretty shade and I do enjoy some of Manna Kadar products, but it's a brand we see far too much of in subscriptions and I don't like getting the same product from the same subscription in less than a year.

So if the Manna Kadar Lip Wand wasn't enough, they sent this lipstick that was just in the January 2017 Lip Monthly! Don't get me wrong, I actually love this lipstick and use it often, but this is one too many repeats for my liking.

This lipstick colour is a pearly nude shimmer which looks like a highlighter to me. I suppose you could use it as such, because I know I wouldn't use it as lipstick. Maybe over another lipstick, but certainly not alone. All Coastal Scents lipsticks are paraben-free.

If this were my first Lip Monthly bag then I wouldn't complain about getting two products from the same brand. But getting the same products from the same subscription in less than a year is not okay in my books. That definitely put a damper on things overall this month. Let's hope this doesn't happen again. The other two products aren't really for me either, so it seems the only thing I like is the makeup bag this month.
