This is my first review of Gentleman’s Box and as I am a fan of some of the other accessory boxes for men, I am anxious to see what is included here as well as the quality. I expect a pair of socks and that is OK. I love socks. The packaging itself is impressive and let us be honest, first impressions are important.
Gentleman’s Box is a subscription box service for men providing the essentials for the modern gentleman. This month we are honoring our favorite Mad Man, Jonathan Daniel Hamm. Jon Hamm is an American actor, director, and television producer best known for playing advertising executive Don Draper in the AMC drama series, Mad Men.
The info magazine is called "The Gentleman's Post", which includes info on the featured products and tips on dressing and other good stuff. This is an exceptional addition to the subscription box and is a wonderful way to present the product info.
Deadsoxy Pocket Square

Deadsoxy prides itself on creating the most comfortable socks known to mankind. This month, Deadsoxy is not providing socks as it has done in the past, but a pocket square of exceptional quality. This is from a new line of accessories and what better way to show it off but in this subscription box. These designs will not be available publicly till early 2017 so an early bird exclusive.
Gentleman Essentials Socks

This company was founded in 2013 and was established to provide the essentials a man needs to look good and feel like the perfect gentleman. These socks are from the new Gentleman Essentials sock line. These socks have a nice weight for winter and sport a holiday red colour with grey accent stripes. Very comfortable.
Astor Ganos Tie

Woolen and knit ties are perfect for winter. Astor Ganos makes a very high-end tie that works well with formal wear. This is the first time Astor Ganos has been included in a Gentleman’s Box. The tie is a dazzling combination of colours with hints of burgundy and navy. A nice fit with your navy, grey or brown suits.
Pere Paix Viscose Wool Scarf

I am not a big fan of scarves but this one just might change my tune. The design is very elegant yet masculine demonstrating what one would call luxury. The scarf is soft and made of viscose. A perfect, fashionable scarf all year round. Pere Paix is more known for their jewelry design so when I went to confirm the cost of the scarf, I could not find one.
John Varvatos Artisan Fragrance

I am also not a big fan of scents just because there is such a changing attitude to chemical sensitivities that I don’t want to be part of the problem. I prefer to be part of the solution so I don’t wear them. I especially cannot wear them at work as is the case for many of my colleagues. The scent of Artisan is quite strong and carries a hint of citrus. I really liked the quality of the dispenser. The little 1.5 ml eau de toilette comes with a mister.
This month's Gentleman’s Box has a total value of over $200. That value is very high and I really like the selection of items. I am almost suspicious, but when you feel the quality in your hands it is hard to deny. This is a very high-end box and great value for the money. If you are the kind of person that likes to look good, this is a great way to collect unique pieces. Straight from the magazine...Gentleman’s Tip no. 65. It’s always easier to tell the truth than to string along an elaborate lie. So true.
