Divine You Crafts is a new monthly subscription box in the arena of conscious, mindful crafting, the Divine You Monthly Conscious Crafting Kit. Each month's box will feature a seasonal craft centered around an inspirational word and including a ritual or other experience. They also give you a special crystal or stone, as well as one of their exclusive collectible Divine You cards so you can build a deck.
Each kit will be different, but you can count on these consistent things:
- Supplies and tools so you can make the craft.
- Instructions, and tips for making the craft.
- A word of the month to provide focus for the month and the activity.

The box comes packaged very nicely. There's an info card attached to the inside lid of the box telling you what's in the kit.
Their focus is on the process of creating and the benefits and insights gained by taking the journey, rather than on simply creating an art project. In this way, makers of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. Often the keepsakes made become especially cherished because of the learning gained and because the person who feels creatively challenged is able to make something so meaningful, even as they doubted their abilities.
There's two sheets of detailed instructions. It looks like a very involved project. I haven't had time to do it yet, but it looks like something that will be fun to do with my boys, so I'm going to hold off until we find time to do it together.
August's project is a Sun Painting Kit. You will create your one-of-a-kind tote bag. It employs the use of sun painting - using fabric paint, natural and other materials, and the sun to create patterns on the fabric.
Divine You Crafts is much more than a craft box. There's a real emphasis on spirituality. For example, the theme for this box is joy and they give you questions to help you engage in the theme, as well as encouraging you to express what joy means to you. They even include a Stone of the Month and give you info on it. It's a unique box and I like the concept.
