June’s Courisity Box theme is “Father’s Day & Nature”. It includes everything to make 3 crafts and 1 activity.

Nature Jar
A very easy craft to do. Simply decorate the jar with nature stickers and tie the poem card around the jar. Now go out and explore nature and put your findings in the jar!

Dad’s Photo Magnet
My son was all over this craft! This was the perfect craft to make for Daddy. We glued the all the foam pieces onto the frame, added some glitter, and a cute pic of Daddy and the boys! Daddy absolutely loved getting this on Father’s Day!!

Sun Catcher Wind Chime
Paint the sun catcher with paint and attach the chimes. This is the only craft we didn’t complete yet.

The activity for this box is a Nature Scavenger Hunt. This is a great idea! There is a checklist of things to find and keep, find and check, and find and draw. On the flip side of the list is a more challenging hunt which is great if you’re doing the scavenger hunt with young and older children. A bonus activity is this Nature Matching Game. My son likes doing these.

I thought this month’s Curiosity Box was a good one. The crafts were very easy to complete. Any child wouldn’t have any difficulty with these. As I mentioned last month, my only issue with this box is the instructions card. The pictures are too small to see and sometimes the only instructions you have to go on are the pictures which makes it too difficult to know exactly what to do. I was happy to see that they included a separate sheet with large pictures of each craft.
What do you think of Curiosity Box? Do you know any children who’d enjoy this box?
