Chefs Plate Subscription Box Review + Promo Code – May 2017

If you're not familiar with Chefs Plate, you need to get acquainted. This is one of my favourite meal delivery subscription services and it's gotten to a point where I can't live without it. They ship to Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and now Quebec!

Chefs Plate is a Canadian meal subscription box service that delivers chef-designed recipes and fresh ingredients each week. You'll receive one delivery a week when you sign up for the 2-Person Plan or Family Plan. This will include 2, 3 or 4 recipes and all the ingredients you need to make them, pre-portioned for two (2-Person Plan) or four (Family Plan). The 2-Person Plan features 7 unique, chef-designed meals each week, consisting of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The Family Plan features 4 unique family-friendly meals each week. You choose the recipes that you want or you can choose to skip a delivery for up to 4 months in advance. Ingredients are locally sourced and fresher than the supermarket. Meats are antibiotic and hormone free.

Here are a couple of meals we've enjoyed over the last few weeks:

Montreal Spiced Chicken w/ Mashed Potatoes, Broccolini and Gravy

This dinner takes you on a trip to La Belle Province with all the classic fixings. Classic Montreal chicken spice flavours the juicy chicken, while creamy mashed potatoes are smothered in a luxurious Dijon gravy. Broccolini is roasted and served alongside.

Creamy Chicken and Leeks w/ Couscous and Green Beans

Chicken tenders are perfectly paired with leeks and cream in this hearty dish. Mushrooms and garlic flavour the delectable cream sauce, infusing luxurious flavour into the tender pieces of chicken. Couscous provides an ideal bed to soak up the juices, while green beans are steamed and served alongside.
