The theme for March is “April Showers”. I try most of the products from the doggie subscription boxes on my Jack Russel/Beagle. She is a 7-year-old, 20 pound bundle of energy named Stella.
Gabo Beef Rib Bone

These naturally wood smoked bones have long-lasting beef flavour that helps keep your dog’s teeth clean. They use only all-natural ingredients and time tested recipes that have made Gabo dog treats a favourite all across Canada. Stella loves this style of bone. She goes crazy for the smoked flavour. This next point has nothing to do with the quality of the treat but I would advise keeping an eye on your dog as it works on these types of bones. I say this because Stella needed $900 of dental work because she broke some teeth being too aggressive.
Thinkers Plato Pet Treats

Fun to snap and moist for training dogs of all sizes. Plato Thinkers are sticks which are grain reduced with gluten-free brown rice which is the only grain ingredient. Brain nourishing natural DHA helps support brain function in your dog. There were two of these in my box, Chicken and Duck. Both were a big hit for Stella.
Farmers Market Plato Pet Treats

These were a big winner for Stella taste wise. She went crazy for them and I would consider these of high value. Plato uniquely cooks treats to maintain maximum nutrition, the treats are never freeze-dried. These single source novel protein treats are especially good for dogs with skin issues, allergies and food sensitivities.

Hartz Nature Collection Plush Dog Toy line brings nature right into your home. A dog’s favorite toy! Realistic plush design with great sounding squeakers that adds fun and excitement. Great for tugging and fetching as material is soft and comfortable for play. This is Stella’s favourite type of toy, but when I produced it I could hardly get a reaction. Just wasn’t her day for toys.
Spring is the time where our dogs are getting the fever. Finally the snow has melted and longer walks are in store. This is also the time of the year when we have to wash the mud stained paws and pick up the poop that is revealing itself in the backyard after being buried all season. This month’s Bowzer Box contains those little rewards our pets love. The quality of the treats are high and the toy looks like it is well constructed. Will it last? I have no idea but I suspect not. The value of the box is pretty good but to be honest it was hard to get values for each item as most were just a sample and are sold in packages. Mostly, I estimated. Overall I was not too impressed with this month’s box, it seemed a bit light. I still rank these guys pretty high in my opinion. The quality of what you do get has always been awesome and I don’t hear Stella complaining.
