Beauty Box 5 Review – March 2013

My review for Beauty Box 5 this month is straightforward and simple, which pretty much describes the box this month. So here you go!

La Fresh Nail Polish Remover Wipes - $3.99 - 6 wipes

image

About to walk into an important meeting? Just realized your nail polish is peeling off? Good thing you have one of these awesome little nail polish remover wipes in your purse!

I've received various samples of this brand in the past and find them ok. They're definitely handy for on the go, but I wouldn't purchase them. 4 bucks for a few wipes, no thanks.

Brazen Cosmetics Eyeshadow - $7.49 / .18 oz

With long-wearing, trendy, custom-blended shades made from beneficial ingredients these eyeshadows really do, “Kick butt and take names!”

Looks like a fierce fuchsia colour. I hope it compliments my eye colour.

Tree Hut Moisturizing Body Butter - $6.49 / 9 oz

image

Infused with certified organic Shea butter, this sweet-smelling moisturizer nourishes the skin and helps prevent the signs of aging.

I love a good body butter and one that smells good. This one is that. They also have an unbelievably delicious body scrub I received last month. I’m telling you it smells so good you really want to eat. Don’t worry I didn’t.

H20 Plus Spa Sea Salt Body Wash - $17 / 12.5 fl oz

image

With ingredients like Japanese Green Tea and Pro-vitamin B, this body wash deeply nourishes the skin in a light lather that cleans without drying.

This seems really good for your skin considering the ingredients in it. It has this menthol scent, so if like that sort of scent then you’ll most likely like this.

H20 Plus Eye-Lift Concentrate - $38 / .5 oz

image

This all-in-one eye concentrate lifts, firms, lightens, hydrates and repairs. (It’s like they bottled sleep!)

Bottled sleep?! I kind of prefer the real thing, much more satisfying. But hey if it does all that for my eyes, then I’m all for it!

Product Info Card

So that’s it guys. Overall I can’t complain. I like the variety, so for the price of their subscription which is $12 / month, $30 / 3 months, or $100 / year, it’s a good deal!

Did you get this month’s Beauty Box 5? You know I want to hear about it and what you think. Feel free to leave a comment. Thanks.
