Headlamp
My son was instantly drawn to this. It has a few different light modes, including a red-light mode that will help you see animal eyeshine.
LED Light String
This is for the Wild Life Craft - make your own lantern. The instructions are found on the back of the info card.
Star Wheel
Use this star wheel to match them up with the stars in the sky.
Star Pack
I didn't see any instructions for these so I think these are just for fun.
Glow Sticks
These are to use in Pack-Tivity #3.
Activities
In your first box, you will get a Field Notes Binder to put all the activity cards in.
Pack-Tivity #1: Using the night sky
Pack-Tivity #2: Nocturnal Nature
Pack-Tivity #: Play in the Dark
I really like how fun and educational Wild Life is for kids. The only issue is I don't find it that straight-forward and neither did my kids. The Pack-tivity cards have too much information on them which isn't necessarily bad, it's just a bit disorganized. Maybe if they simplified it by making the activities and the learning facts separate it would be easier to follow.
