White Willow Box Review – December 2016

Yay, White Willow Box is here! I'm still not used to it being a bi-monthly box, but it does make it that much more exciting when it finally arrives. I do hope that one day they go back to monthly boxes, I want it every month!

White Willow Box is a Canadian lifestyle subscription box. You will receive a lovely box delivered straight to your door with four to five samples and full-sized products ranging from: beauty and personal care products, fashion accessories, home decor accents, culinary delights, technology gadgets, and other lifestyle surprises.

Cost: $45.95 (CAD)/bi-monthly or $94.90 (CAD)/4 months (2 boxes total)

Shipping: $8.50 (CAD) & $19.50 (US)

The packaging is one of my favourites. The OCD in me loves that even the tissue paper doesn't have a wrinkle. Whoever packs the boxes has supreme packing skills.

This months' box included a nice Christmas card from White Willow.

The info cards are well done with photos and values of the items.

Double Layered Necklace with White Marble
$28

This necklace combines two style elements: gold detailing and marble. I really like the style and will wear it, but I saw this being sold on a discount website for $2.27, so make what you will about the value.

Greenmarket Purveying Co. Gilded Winter Candle with Metallics Collection Matches
$17

This candle comes in a frosted glass tumbler with gold dipped rim in a hand printed muslin bag. I like that they included a box of matches. The Glistening Snow scent has hints of green pine with a bit of vanilla. It's a pretty candle, but it isn't very big. You should get 10-30 hours of burn time.

Manna Kadar Lip Locked Priming Gloss Stain (Lucky)
$32

Nothing against White Willow, but I'm officially tired of seeing this product. It has popped up in so many boxes and in the same shade. It is a good product and I do like it, but I hope this is the last time I see it in a box.

Kocostar Dry Hands Rescue Mask
$5

This package includes one set of intensive serum-lined gloves that you put on each hand and wear for minutes to super soft, nourished skin. It's free of parabens, sulfates, or synthetic fragrances.

Murchie's Fine Tea & Coffee Chocolate Chip & Walnut Biscotti
$10

This is my favourite item in the box. I love biscotti with my coffee and this one was a real treat! The biscotti base is made with chocolate chips and walnuts, topped with both white and milk chocolate. If I had a lifetime supply, I'd be very happy!

This month's White Willow Box has a total value of $92.  This was a solid box, but not one of their best. I was most excited about the biscotti (it was that good!). I also thought the candle was great. I believe there are a limited number of the December box still available, so try to scoop one up if you're interested.
