July’s SprezzaBox is named The Amsterdam.
A very popular pattern these days are florals and what better season to wear it? Welcome to summer, the season of rooftop BBQ’s, picnics in Central Park and rosé in the Hamptons. It will be hot in the city so get your lighter fabrics and colours and head somewhere fun.
Sprezza Socks
$10
These are nice light weight brown socks with white polka dots that are made by Sprezza. The fabric is 80% Combed Cotton, 17% Polymide and 3% Elastane. The socks are mid-calf length. Very nice.
Brooklyn Wolf Necktie
$29
I am now the coolest guy in the office. Navy tie with a really sharp beige floral pattern. Not loud, very subtle which I like. The linen tight feel to the weave and carries some nice weight. I do like what SprezzaBox is doing to source these pieces. I can almost guarantee that no one else in my office has the same tie. I have already had several comments from my female colleagues. It makes it hard to tell all my friends in the office about SprezzaBox because before long we will all have the same accessories.
Weekend Casual Pocket Square
$20
This silk square is from Weekend Casuals Premium Line. With 4 quadrant of colours, you have multiple options for wearing it and thus you will always be in style. One side is dark brown with large or small dots while the opposite side is beige again with different sized dots. What is cool about this is they give you ideas on how to wear it on their Instagram page. Be sure to check it out!
Bryer Leather Bracelet
$25
Handmade in the San Diego, California from high quality 7/8oz vegetable-tanned leather. Bryer designs and crafts all of their products, including the bracelets. I checked out the website and was impressed by the many products. There are products from beautiful leather duffel bags to minimalist wallets. I seriously spent a lot of time window shopping and wishing. Excellent products and if the bracelet construction is any indicator of quality, I suspect that the rest of the collection is solid. Hand dyed, hand waxed beeswax finish with solid brass hardware.
Classics Roller Pen
$15
A lightweight metal pen is definitely very classy and professional. It is a small gesture but when you pull out a fancy silver pen in a meeting, people will notice. I have already had colleagues jokingly tell me they were going to steal my pen.
Word. Polygon Notebook
$4
Nice touch SprezzaBox! You can’t get a pen and not have paper to write a few notes on. A 48 page, lined notebook rounds off this collection of accessories. It is small so it fits nicely in an inside suit pocket. Stylish and subtle so you look professional whenever you need it. Remember, a gentleman always takes good notes.
There is also a card with a link to an app called Hooch, A Private Cocktail Society. For a subscription you are able to redeem a free drink at hundreds of HOOCH bars and restaurants.
I think the perfect subscription box is one that well exceeds the value you pay every month. Not only does the value need to be there, you expect quality as well. SprezzaBox has to be the best box I’ve ever had the chance to review. I cannot get over the quality and the value that is packed in this box. The total value of June’s SprezzaBox is $103. Even shipped to Canada along with a high exchange rate, this box is worth getting. This accessory box is full of items that go so well together and hold their appeal on their own. A really good example is the navy tie with a subtle beige pattern. It will work on its own as a casual look or dressed up with all the other browns, both dark and light. All the accessories blend well together, bringing the accents together so well. There are also a few fine items like a pen and corresponding notebook. The website announces changes on the horizon but I really cannot think of how they can possibly do a better job.
