Snakku has excellent packaging and presentation! The box is wrapped in a traditional Japanese furoshiki wrapping cloth, which is included with any 3 or 6 month subscription.

The August box is "The World of Rusks". Rusks are crispy twice baked baguette slices tipped with sugar, cream, or frosting. It's very popular in Japan, but rarely seen anywhere else. It's one of the favourite snacks at Snakku.

The info card gives you details on the rusks and some more popular snacks at the bottom.

Ryushodo Rusk
Ryushodo’s rusks are made with the finest, locally sourced wheat and butter. The uniquely mellow matcha flavor is made possible by tea leaves picked by neighboring farms.
Pocky Milk Chocolate
Milk chocolate covered pocky with sea salt and sugar crystals. The boys love Pocky!

Cybele Rusks
Wow, there is a lot here! There are 8 different flavours included and they were all pretty good! We couldn't distinguish between all the flavours by reading the labels, but once we tasted them we could figure out which was which. The flavours included: plain sugar, maple walnut, garlic, blueberry, chocolate, apple cinnamon, spicy onion, and almond coconut.

Yuki no Yado
Slightly salty senbei topped with Hokkaido fresh cream.
Maison De Kukkia
Matcha chocolate sandwiched between wafer cookies.

Bourbon Rumando
Grilled crepe cookie dipped in cocoa cream.
Hokkaido Matcha Milk Candy
Made from Hokkaido milk and matcha from Aichi.

Snakku is a high quality Japanese snack subscription box and I really enjoyed the Rusks theme. I also liked that they included some more well-known snacks and the box presentation overall was impressive! I'm not sure of the prices, but if you're interested in these type of snacks, then you could easily find the value in this box.
