Hey everyone! Well, I’m a little more excited than usual to do this review for Snackbox this month, because there’s a surprise for you guys!
Snackbox is one of our favourite subscription boxes around here for a few reasons. This box has something for everyone in our house, there’s great variety, and lots of yummy snacks for us to enjoy! Snackbox is a subscription service that ships healthy, natural, and delicious snacks to your door every month. Each Snackbox has about 10–12 items. The fun of Snackbox is discovering new products each month!
There are 3 subscriptions to choose from:
1 Month: $33 / month
3 Months: $27 / month
6 Months: $24 / month
Shipping: $6.95 - Ships To Canada Only.
Snackbox is also giving you $15 off your first box. Use code: GIRLMEETSBOX (code expires Nov.30, 2013)
Snackbox has a new shipping box and I love it! The new squirrel logo on it and the red are great!
Organic Lives Raspberry Macaroons
$5.50 / box
These macaroons were better than I thought they’d be. I’m not big on raspberry flavoured anything, unless it’s actual real raspberries, but these were really good. Each raspberry macaroon contains the equivalent amount of antioxidants as 2 cups of fresh blueberries.
100% natural, each one-ounce serving contains a full serving of vegetables and no trans fats. With a seasonal mix of taro, sweet potato, yuca, batata and parsnip, some are sweet, all are savory. This is different and very good! I like me some chips, but not the fat. These are much healthier, I love them!
Taste of Nature Granola Bar
I had to give this to my son, he loves granola bars! He totally approved and loved it! These are high in fibre, complex carbohydrates and protein fueling power.
Quinn Popcorn Vermont Maple & Sea Salt
My boys and I really like popcorn! It’s usually a nighttime snack, so we’ll enjoy it some night this weekend.
Back To Earth Weeds Andseeds Cereal
$7 / 8 oz bag
This is really good to add to yogurt, oatmeal, shakes or salads. I like the idea of adding them to muffins as Snackbox suggests. Vegan, lactose free, high in fibre, iron, calcium and protein. Gluten & wheat free, rich in omega 3, 6, & 9. Nothing, but pure goodness!
Vega One Bar
Another very healthy snack! Great for on the go when you’re body needs it. Plus each bar has a full serving of greens.
Skeet & Ikes Roasted Almonds - Salted
We all love almonds and can never have enough. I always snack on almonds if I get hungry between meals. I've had these before and they're good. Glad to have more.
Runa Clean Energy Drink (Berry)
I’m not big on energy drinks, but my husband likes having one from time to time, so he'll drink this. The leaf they used to brew this drink called Guayusa, which combined with the caffeine creates a balanced energy effect without any jitters, crash or jolted buzz.
Yum! Dark chocolate with layers of “fruity”notes. This is sooo good! At first I expected there to be fruit in it, but there isn't. Its fruity flavour comes from the cacao bean itself; there is no added flavouring. The fruit flavour is actually quite mild. Fortunately, I am the chocolate lover here, so I won’t have to share haha!
Veggiego Sweet Potato
Similar to a fruit leather, but made from whole organic fruits and veggies. It did have good flavour from the sweet potato and cinnamon, but the texture is just not my thing.
Snackbox did it again! A great selection of snacks and I was introduced to some new brands and healthy snacks! It always a pleasure to get to try all the new goodies every month. Snackbox has been big in my house. It's a box my whole family enjoys getting and sharing. Definitely a worthwhile subscription box! What do you think of Snackbox?
