In my search for new and unique subscription boxes I decided to try Poppy Parcel (what a cute name!). Poppy Parcel is fairly new, I believe this is only their second box so far. This isn’t your typical subscription box. It’s basically a first-come-first-serve subscription box curated for the everyday girl! There are a few photos posted in their blog section to get a better idea of the type of products to expect.
Cost is $19.99
Shipping cost for Canada is $10. International shipping is $20.
I had no idea what to expect, so when I received the box I was pleasantly surprised at the size. It was bigger than I thought it would be. I didn’t get my hopes up though after getting this box here. As soon as I opened it I pretty much liked everything about it. The size, the packaging, but what about what was inside? Holding my breath...
Just Lovely Things - Headband
Oh no! Not another headband/hair tie thingy. Nothing about this do I like. Next...
Baggu - Fun Tote
I probably wouldn’t buy this, but I’ll definitely use it. Folded nicely in this small pouch, the bag itself is a really good size and will come in handy.
Pear Tree Greetings - Notepad Pack in More Macaroons Please
I love this! I think it’s really cute. I love the colours and design. I will enjoy writing notes on this. It might make me hungry everytime I write a note, but I’m usually always hungry anyway lol.
I don’t want to be too critical - 2 out of 3 ain’t bad. I love the packaging and the personal note but, I don’t know. Am I the only one who expects to get a minimum of 4 items in any subscription box? Another item or two would have made this box a lot better for me. There was a 15% off coupon code for next month’s box (OHMYSTARS), so that was nice. I’m going to give this box another chance. Have you subscribed to Poppy Parcel? What do you think of this kind of subscription box?
