I wasn't sure what to expect from this box, but figured there'd be food related items. From the first look I could tell it was packed with care and I loved the presentation, especially the wax-sealed info card! I just loved that touch! The info card has more than just the product details, there's detailed info about the company itself. It was nice to read about how some of these companies started.

The items do indeed come in a sack. It definitely had an old-fashioned feel to it which I thought was nice.
January's theme is "Celebration".
This season brings about lots of family and friends gathering around for the big games on the weekend.

Savory Soup Sack Fiesta Chili (Connecticut)
$5.99
This comes with pinto, turtle red beans and a savoury spice pack. There is a recipe on the back to make Fiesta Chili. We love chili, so we will be making this for sure! It's a little time-consuming because you have to cook the beans for a couple of hours, but this can be done on a day where there's no rush.

The New England Cupboard Country Cornbread (Maine)
$4.25
I don't think I've ever made corn bread, but I definitely want to try. This will go good with the chili.

New England Cupboard Jimbo's Bloody Mary Mix (Maine)
$5.25
It's been many years since I've had a Caesar (Canadians call them Caesar's, not Bloody Mary's). It's not a cocktail I would drink often, but I'll have to give this mix a try.

Anne Taintor Set of Coasters (Maine)
$6
Love these coasters! Set your Bloody Mary down on one of these. These are very fun and something I'd buy! Seriously, why do dishes when you can do daiquiris?! LOL!

Scentsational Scrubs Lip Scrub & Lip Balm in Mango Papaya (Connecticut)
$7 & $3
A sugar based lip scrub that gets rid of those flaky chapped lips and conditions them. Take just a bit and rub gently on your lips. Wipe gently with a tissue. Completely edible. Enough product for months.
The Mango Papaya smells really good! I could definitely use a good lip scrub for this time of year! The lip balm and scrub are handmade using high quality ingredients.

January's New England Sack has a total value of $31.49. Since this is a specialty, small business box the value isn't going to be high, but you do get quality products and it's a well-curated box, so it depends on if this is your style of box or not to determine if the value is there for you. I really enjoyed the box and plan on making the chili and corn bread this weekend. February's theme will be "Breakfast", so order by February 7th to get yours. I think it would make a great Valentines Day gift in lieu of flowers and candy!
