Nerd Block Jr. Boys Review – August 2014

Nerd Block is a monthly mystery package delivered right to your door filled with nerdy apparel, toys, and collectibles! They have a few different subscription boxes – Classic ($19.99), Jr. Boys ($13.99), Jr. Girls ($13.99), and Horror Block ($19.99).

The Jr. Boxes are for ages 6-11 and only have toys.

Cost: $13.99 / month + $6 shipping to Canada & US. Ships internationally.

My son seriously loves this box -  it's the perfect box for him. I'm always just as excited as he is to get the box!

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe Enemy Danglers
$3.95

I couldn't understand why this would be in a kids box. A phone dangler for kids? Uh, my son doesn't have a phone so this is useless. Maybe use it on a key chain, but again he's only 4, so he doesn't have his own house keys yet.

Angry Birds Star Wars Phone Danglers
$2.99

Luckily, he likes Angry Birds Star Wars, but another phone dangler, this just doesn't seem suitable to me.

Skylanders Giants Flingers
$5

I didn't realize it at first, but this goes on the top of your pencil. I don't think he'll use for that, my other son may just end up playing with it.

Ben 10 Omniverse (Bloxx & Fourarms)
$10

I couldn't find an exact price, so I'm going with this one. My son isn't familiar with these characters, but he likes little action figures, so he's been enjoying theses little guys.

Spiderman Project-A-Lite
$6.99

Now this is what made the box for him! He's eyes lit up when he saw this! He loves Spiderman and these cool flashlights, it was a total score for him!

Owl Fun Summer Fun Activity Book
$5.99

I'll admit he didn't pay this book much attention, but now and then he likes to do activity books, so I'll keep it around.

Nerd Block Jr. Boys Review – August 2014

Regardless of the value (which is pretty good) and those danglers, this box is a win! It gives him something to look forward to every month and he loves the surprise! The only thing I wish they included is an info card. Other than that, this is a box I'd recommend for any child. I'm even tempted to get him the regular Nerd Block!
