MommiesFirst Box -April Review

image

I am so excited to share this box review! This month I subscribed to MommiesFirst, but it almost didn’t happen. MommiesFirst is a subscription box for expecting moms and new moms. It’s $30 / month and you can expect 4-5 products for mom and baby. While the contents are a surprise, what you can expect is a customized care package created to suit the developmental stage of your pregnancy or baby. Everything they choose is meant to help you navigate that particular month with greater ease and comfort. They have two boxes to choose from:

For the Expectant Mom you’ll receive a care package each month during your pregnancy – and into your baby’s first year.

For New Moms, MommiesFirst delivers a care package of products for mom and baby each month. All of their care packages are tailored for the age of your baby up to 12 months in age.

So back to why it almost didn’t happen. Well as it states they only do boxes for babies up to 12 months and my son is 17 months, but I wanted to subscribe so bad that I decided to contact them and see if there was anyway I could get a box. They responded back that they could do a special order for me and that I could get up to 3 boxes if I wanted. I was beyond happy that they would do this for me! Talk about exceptional customer service. Not only that, but they shipped it out to me that week! Already I was so impressed and excited. They also mentioned that later in the year they will expand the age past 12 months. I sent them some personal details and my box came later that week.

I was surprised at how big the box. Once opened I saw there was a note inside and it was personalized with both my name and my son’s (so sweet)! All the products were listed on cards attached with a baby safety pin (how cute is that!)

Now to all the great things inside:

Munchkin Safety Ducky
$3.99

image

This is a cute bath toy that will tell you if the water is too hot for baby. Place the ducky in the water for a minute and if “HOT” appears white on the bottom you know it’s too hot. We’re in need of a new ducky and I like that it has another purpose.

Munchkin Snack Catcher
$3.99-$5.49

The cup keeps bite-sized snacks inside the container until little fingers pull them out - even if it tips over. This is perfect! My son loves to walk around eating his snacks, of course sometimes making a mess. This is will totally help keep snacks where they’re supposed to be, in the cup and not the floor.

Bookcloseout.com - First 100 Box of Books
$19.95

A bright and lively series of first word and picture books. This is great! My son is now enjoying books and learning new words everyday. We’re both going to really enjoy reading these books! Included was $5 gift card.

Weleda Refining Toner
$17.50-$22.50

This refreshing natural toner for all skin types purifies skin and refines pores after cleansing. This was a nice little surprise for me. This is good brand, but I haven’t tried it before. Looking forward to it though.

Thought Spots Thought Pack
$14

These were designed to motivate, inspire, teach, praise and share. They’re like stickers with a special message you can place to brighten someone’s day whether it’s for the little ones or even us mommies and daddies. Just place them on a clean, shiny surface and since they work by “static cling”, they’re reusable! These are cute and fun! I know I’ll get a lot of use out of them.

Oliver’s Labels Coupon

Free pack of labels from oliverslabels.com. I love labels and will for sure use this.

Overall I am thrilled with this box! It was beyond my expectations and loved everything about it! It was age appropriate and filled with things we will get good use out of. This box would absolutely be the perfect gift for any expecting or new mom! I would’ve loved to get this as a gift. I can’t thank MommiesFirst enough for doing this special box for me! You definitely need to subscribe or give this box as a gift! I can’t wait to get the next one! Have you subscribed or know anyone who has? I’d love to hear about it.
