All recipes are ready within a maximum of 30 minutes. They buy all the meats fresh and vacuum sealed which prolongs their freshness. Fish is also purchased fresh when available, otherwise, flash frozen. Since no items have been previously frozen, you can freeze anything you wish to cook at a later time.
This is the 3 meal Custom Box (4 portions).
Chicken Enchiladas with Black Beans & Sour Cream
These enchiladas are delectable. You can either use chicken, black beans or even both if you're feeling adventurous! With a dollop of sour cream to soften the spices, it is absolute heaven on the palate.
4 Mushroom Linguine with Creamy Parmesan Sauce
Who doesn't like pasta? In a creamy cheesy sauce with a variety of 4 mushrooms roasted with garlic... there's no way you can resist it.
Chicken Skewers with BLT Grilled Salad
Let's enjoy BBQ season with this summer recipe! Grilled vegetables and marinated chicken brochettes accompanied with crispy bacon create an explosion of flavours and textures in your mouth.
We enjoyed all three MissFresh meals and there were pretty easy to prepare. The only meal I modified was the chicken skewer recipe and just made a regular salad with the ingredients instead of grilling them. I have had mixed feelings about this subscription in the past, such as the flavour of the meals. They can sometimes be a bit underwhelming but this box was very tasty. My other dislike is how the recipes are written. I've noticed that with some recipes some of the steps are missing and/or aren't clearly explained. That's makes it a bit frustrating when you're in the middle of cooking and you're aren't sure what to do next. But they do ship to all of Canada and you can get $30 off your first box HERE!
