LittleEcoFootprint – September 2013 Review

LittleEcoFootprint – September 2013 Review

In last month’s LittleEcoFootprint review I mentioned how they would be changing to an “Ages & Stages Box” instead of the previous “Theme Box” and I’m happy they made that change. For those of you that don’t know, LittleEcoFootprint is a subscription box full of goodies that will be delivered to your doorstep with the highest quality products for both baby and you. Products could range from kid friendly lotions and washes, to non-toxic toys and organic snacks and treats for your little one. Each box is hand-selected and age specific products are tailored to the age of your child.

Cost: $29 / month

Boxes ship on the 15th of every month (if the 15th falls on a holiday or weekend, then boxes will ship the next business day.)

Inside this month’s box:

Appreciating Health - Spray Away
$7 / 2 oz

Appreciating Health - Spray Away

A hand & body, surface & air spray. How convenient is that?! I’m a germ-a-phobe and love that I can use this on pretty much anything - hands, body, bathrooms, cars, toys, change tables, upholstery, etc. The active ingredients in this formation are potent (but non-toxic) germ exterminators. Uh yeah, this is my new best friend!

Make Believe Ideas - Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Book
$4

Make Believe Ideas - Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Book

We received The Wheels on the Bus from the same author last month and we enjoyed it, so we now have a collection started. These books have rhyming text and beautiful hand-stitched illustrations.

Lalabee Bath Works - Bottom Balm
$7

Lalabee Bath Works - Bottom Balm

Helps soothe sensitive skin and keep baby’s bottom protected from contact with wet diapers. I love that this gentle enough for everyday use and is one of the top LEAST toxic diaper creams on the Cosmetics Database with a green rating for zero toxins.

Philips AVENT 12 oz Straw Cup
$7

Philips AVENT 12 oz Straw Cup

I’m so glad to get a new cup! I’ve been meaning to get some new sippy cups, so this is great! I really like this brand and it has a unique twist lid that can easily be open and closed by little ones. The soft straw is protected when closed, while the integrated leak-proof valve prevents spills when it’s open. BPA free.

Melissa & Doug - Rainbow Stacker
$8

Melissa & Doug - Rainbow Stacker

Talk about a classic childhood toy! This box is for my 22 (almost 23) month old, but my (almost) 4 year old was all over this toy! They both have enjoyed this toy so much! Sometimes it’s the simplest toy that brings them tons of enjoyment - really happy to get this!

I’m really pleased with LittleEcoFootprint as usual. My budget is making it hard for me to continue with all my subscriptions and I was contemplating unsubscribing for a while, but I don’t think I can give this box up. I enjoy this subscription too much! I love seeing the excitement my boys get out of this box and I love the variety and the usefulness of the products I receive. Truly a worthwhile subscription box for any parent or expecting parent. This would also make a wonderful gift. Have you subscribed to LittleEcoFootprint? What do you think of this month’s box?
