LittleEcoFootprint – August Review

LittleEcoFootprint - August Review

When LittleEcoFootprint arrived the other day and I have to say, I was little more impressed with it this month! For us Canadians we don’t have too many options when it comes to these types of subscription boxes. Each month your LittleEcoFootprint membership box will be delivered to your doorstep containing the highest quality products for your little one. Products could range from kid friendly lotions and washes, to non-toxic toys and organic snacks and treats for your little one. Each box is hand-selected and age specific products are tailored to the age of your child.

Cost: $29 / month

In September, LittleEcoFootprint will be changing things up a bit. They are moving away from themed boxes, and moving to Ages & Stages boxes. These boxes will be super tailored to your child's age, practical and in season. I think that’s great and look forward to future boxes.

This month’s theme is: Back To School

This is really appropriate for me and well everyone who has kids right! My oldest son will be starting jr. kindergarten this week! It’s still so hard to believe that my baby is starting school. He is really excited and I know he’ll do just fine. He did a pre-school month-long program from June to July and he loved it!

So on to the box!

First Food Organics - Organic Munch Mix in Banana

First Food Organics - Organic Munch Mix in Banana

These are great snacks. We've received them before and the boys like them, so it’s good to have more.

Funkins Reusable Napkins

This is such a cute pattern. It’s a cloth napkin that is perfect for his lunch box. It’s big enough that I would even use it as a placemat.

LunchSkins Sandwich & Snack Bag
$12.99

LunchSkins Sandwich & Snack Bag

I’ve never seen reuasable bags like this before and think these are great! Totally reduces waste and they’re dishwasher safe. Another very useful product.

Make Believe Ideas Book - The Wheels on the Bus

Make Believe Ideas Book - The Wheels on the Bus

I love all the books I get from LittleEcoFootprint. They’re fun, colourful, and most importantly the boys enjoy them! Plus this is one of their favourite songs.

Mom’s Kisses All Natural Topical Pain Relief
$5

Mom’s Kisses All Natural Topical Pain Relief

This is a great product. I already own a bottle of this. This is a good travel size, so in my bag it goes. It’s helps heal bruises and is a natural anti-inflammatory. The active ingredient is arnica. I’ve even used it on myself.

Rhino Toys - 4” oBall
$5.99

Rhino Toys - 4” oBall

I was worried that this might be too young for my boys, but they’ve been having fun with it. It’s flexible, bendable, and makes it really easy for babies to grasp.

I’m very happy with the box this month. I love that there were so many new products and we have a use for all of them! The emphasis on eco-friendly products is another reason why I love this box so much. The value is pretty sweet too - $44.95. Any parent would enjoy LittleEcoFootprint and it would be an awesome gift!
