This month's theme is "Magic". My boys will love this! There's a booklet with instructions for all the projects.
We have the Explore! magazine that's filled with all sorts of activities.
In this crate, you'll explore the power of static electricity, create some artistic illusions, and learn a bunch of amazing magic tricks to perform for family and friends!
The Clingy Confetti - This trick you can do with or without the cup. The blue felt is for charging the magic wand by rubbing it fast for at least 15 seconds. Once charged, bring the wand close to the confetti and it will stick the wand. I did this for my son without telling him how to this trick works and it blew his mind.
The Spinning Matchstick - Same idea as the other trick, static electricity makes the matchstick that's balancing on the dome move when you bring the charged end of the wand close to the end of the matchstick.
Make A Magic Box - We haven't done this yet, but here are the supplies to make a magic box that will be used for a couple of other tricks that are shown in the instructions booklet.
The Disappearing Coin - Learn how to make a coin disappear with this trick.
The Changing Picture - This is an optical illusion that involves drawing pictures on the black and white cards. We'll get to this another time.
This month's Kiwi Crate is awesome! My son loved the magic theme and he was so excited to learn the tricks. We haven't had a chance to do all the projects, but I'm glad to see that there were several tricks to learn, as well as other numerous activities in the activity books. This is one of our favourite Kiwi Crates!
