Kiwi Crate Review “Glowing Animals” – October 2013

Kiwi Crate Review "Glowing Animals" - October 2013

I put this review for Kiwi Crate on hold until my son and I got a chance to complete the projects. Before school one morning I had told my son that we would do Kiwi Crate when he got home. I knew he was eager to do them. The first thing he said when he got off the school bus was he wanted to go home and do the crafts! Usually he wants hang outside and play. We got to it and had a blast! I wish I had subscribed to Kiwi Crate sooner - this box is so much fun!

Kiwi Crate Review "Glowing Animals" - October 2013

Kiwi Crate rates the projects based on messiness and grownup involvement. We did the “My Glowworm Friend” first. It’s low on the messiness and medium on the grownup involvement and involves moving - fine, creating and caring. This is how it came out.

This was very easy to complete and fun! My son loved this project and when he saw it glow in the dark, he couldn’t have thought it was any cooler! He named him “Glowy”.

Next we did the “My Racing Jellyfish". It rates low on messiness and medium on the grownup involvement and involves discovering, creating and moving - gross. This took more time to complete and had more steps to do, but was still easy to complete.

My son enjoyed this one too, but “Glowy” was his favourite!

I had no idea that this box would as fun and engaging as it was! We both had a lot of fun and I was even more surprised that Kiwi Crate had extra goodies in the box. We like doing crafts, but sometimes I struggle with new projects to do and with Kiwi Crate I don’t have to plan anything or get any supplies, it’s all there for you. This box is great for so many people who have little ones that need to be entertained and/or learn new skills. (Just want to mention that the pair of scissors included in the box were amazing for my son who is still learning to use scissors properly. They were the perfect size and made to fit well in his hands.) I am thoroughly impressed with Kiwi Crate and would definitely recommend this subscription box!
