This is our second box from Kiwi Crate and I definitely feel it’s one of the best craft boxes out there for kids in this age range. I mean even I enjoy doing these crafts with my son (really!).

My String Puppet
The Materials
The String Puppet was incredibly easy and fun to make. Low on the messiness and medium for grownup involvement. At first I don’t think my son realized what we were making, but halfway through I could see how fascinated he was seeing the puppet come together. My son just turned 4, so I don’t expect him to be able to do the project all by himself. I end up doing the majority of the work, but he’s learning new skills as he goes along.
My Story Theater
The Materials
This project involved creating a story theater using stickers and markers. Low on the messiness and low on grownup involvement. I honestly thought my son wouldn’t have much interest in this project, but he surprised me by being really into it! I hadn’t put much thought into what the story was we were creating, but the smart mama I am, pulled it off and we created this cute little fairytale story. My son who is the cutest thing ever, loved the story so much that he keeps asking me to do it over and over again!
