I feel like I’m one of the last to get the new Julep Plié Wand. I got it late last week and still haven’t even tried it out yet, but I’m posting a review anyway. I ordered it when they had their crowdfunding campaign back in January. I knew it wasn’t going to be shipped until this month, so it was a looong wait!
If you haven’t heard about this innovative new product from Julep, here’s the rundown - Julep’s Plié Wand is supposed bring more accuracy, control, and fun to every manicure—especially when polishing with your non-dominant hand.
Cost: $19.99

Plié Wand

What it is:
An ergonomic nail polishing tool designed to solve common polishing pain points and give you better results. Imagine if you’d spent your whole life writing with a pen cap and then someone finally handed you a full-size pen. That’s what it feels like to polish with the Plié Wand.

What it does:
- Long, balanced design improves leverage, comfort, and control
- Flexible handle twists and bends so you can get a better grip
- Plié overcap fits on any Julep nail polish and attaches to Plié Wand
- Precision brush lets you polish closer to your nail
Here’s a little video on how to use the Plié Wand:
Also included in my box were:
Plié Wand Precision Brush (2x)
The precision brushes feature a shorter stem that lets you get closer to your nail while polishing. For best results, pop on a Plié overcap and attach to the Plié Wand.

Nail Polish in Margot, Reese, and Monaco
- Margot is an old Hollywood gold shimmer.
- Reese is a bright, bubblegum pink crème.
- Monaco is the Pantone 2014 Color of Spring, a dazzling mariner blue crème. It’s my favourite of the three!

Other than the Plié Wand, I wasn’t sure what else I’d get in the box, so I was totally happy to see 3 nail polishes and the precision brushes. Even though I haven’t used the Plié Wand, I been playing around with it seeing how it feels in different positions and definitely think it’ll make polishing easier.
