I am a very happy girl this month, because I finally was able to redeem my ipsypoints! I haven’t been able to redeem my points for months and every time I would see a new item, it was sold out. I guess ipsy heard all the complaints from people and they totally made up for it! Last month they were a bunch of new items on the site and I redeemed my points for as many items as I could which ended up being A LOT! So much that all my items didn’t fit in a regular ipsy mailer, I got one that was twice the size!

ipsy Glam Bag Review – August 2014

I have no interest in the bag itself this month - it’s nothing special and I won’t be reusing it. Let’s move onto the goodies!

GLAMGLOW Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment
$10.87 / 15 g.

I have another GLAMGLOW mask that I use and really like, so I’m sure I like this. This has the patented TEAOXI technology with real Green Tea Leaf is the ‘magic’ behind powerful anti-aging and anti-wrinkle results, delivering fresh antioxidants directly into the mud to hydrate, balance oil production and fight free radical damage. Can’t wait to give it a try!

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara
$5.50 / 3 ml

I’m so glad I got the mascara! It’s ultra-creamy, provides good lengthening and volume to lashes. It features triple-black pigments and a deeply nourishing ingredient blend.

Jersey Shore Sun Mongongo Lip Conditioner
$5.50 - Full Size

If I didn’t already have so many lip balms I’d be more excited about getting this, but it does smell good and it offers a unique protection from UV and environmental pollutants in skin applications. Mongongo oil is rich in calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper and anti-oxidants.

Lord & Berry Silk Kajal Kohl Eye Pencil

It’s so tiny that you can't even hold it properly to apply. I throw out my eyeliners when they get this short - what a joke!

Manna Kadar Cosmetics Sheer Glo Shimmer Lotion
$7.83 / 0.27 oz

I've been using illuminators and highlighters on my cheeks all summer and can’t say enough how much of a difference it makes. I love the glow my skin has! You can also mix it with skin lotion and apply to your body for a nice glow.

The rest is all the bonus items I received. I totally scored and I hope ipsy keeps updating their stock! Getting this many in one month is crazy - don’t hate ;)

ipsy Glam Bag Review – August 2014

How cute are the earrings?! I am so lucky I was able to snag a pair! The rest is just icing on the cake. You’ll see some of these things on my sell/swap board, so check it out to see if there’s something you might want.

Overall I’m happy with my Glam Bag this month, but I’m noticing how small all the samples are this month. It’s quite unlike ipsy to skimp on product sizes. If I hadn’t received any bonus items I’d be a little disappointed, but I ended up doing good this month.

So, what did you think of your ipsy Glam Bag this month? If you don’t subscribe, I recommend that you do! ipsy generally is a really great subscription, is affordable, and you get a good value!
