I just got home from Japan and I found out I had a Gentleman’s Box to review. I loved the last Gentleman’s Box I had the opportunity to review. I first opened the box I could not contain my excitement. Wow! Gentleman’s Box has teamed up with the American bourbon maker Jim Beam to bring us the May box. I have seen several men’s accessory boxes but I have yet to see one offer a name brand pairing. Read on and let me tell you what I received.

This month we are saluting the southern gentleman. The southern gentleman is all about casual elegance. The info magazine is called "The Gentleman's Post" which includes info on the feature products, a recipe for BBQ sauce, and other good stuff. This is an exceptional addition to the subscription box and is a wonderful way to present the product info. Fantastic production value.

I was once told by a close friend about the value of a good pair of socks. Women notice if you are wearing a pair of socks with a sharp colour and a great pattern. These socks deliver just that. A wine colour polka dot pattern with grey accents. The cuffs are ribbed so they stay on the calf. The socks are polyester and spandex which make them comfortable and breathable.

The Dark Knot Lapel Pin

Have I mentioned how much I love these lapel pins?! Gentleman’s Box is the only subscription box where I have found these pins. I cannot tell you how often I get a second look because of these pins. This red rose lapel pin is made from microfiber and looks smart. I will be sporting this at the next wedding I attend. I will let you know how many people get jealous because they don’t have one.
AJ Murray’s Kentucky Bourbon Lotion

Louisville, KY is the home of a family owned business making men’s grooming products from natural ingredients. This lotion smells great and is very smooth and not greasy. The scent comes from vetiver and cedar blended with bourbon, cognac, palmarosa and rose.
Wooden Coasters

OK, quite possibly the best addition to a men’s subscription box I have ever seen. Jim Beam Black, Extra Aged wooden coasters. These items are classy and perfect for entertaining your friends at your next party.
Jim Beam Black Ice Tray
A simple black ice tray that makes oversized ice cubes. These ice cubes are intended for your bourbon glass. Because they are bigger than usual, they do not melt as quickly and they add just the right amount of water to your bourbon.
This month, Gentleman’s Box delivers the southern gentleman to your door. Jim Beam and Gentleman’s Box make a great combination. The coasters and the ice cube tray are awesome. Once again the value in this box is great. I love the fact that this box doesn’t just contain the tie and socks, it holds some products that guys will appreciate and use.
