Banana / Chocolate Flavoured Pocky

Extremely well-known among lovers of Asian food, Pocky is a favourite for all. However, this Thai-variety of Banana/Chocolate flavoured sticks is amazing. We bought double the amount we needed just so we could eat them ourselves.

SunSnack Barbecue Sunflower Seeds & Sour Gummy Drop

SunSnack Barbecue Sunflower Seeds  are very well known across Thailand, serving as a quick ‘light’ snack that isn’t too unhealthy! We’ve sent you the barbecue variety, but they’re famous for being available in a few different flavours (but barbecue’s our favourite).

Thai people tend to really like a couple different things: Japanese Culture & Sour Food. The idea of a sumo wrestlers seems to appeal to the Thais with many different brands adopting it as their logo. On to the sour part. In Thai, ‘Biao’ (เปรี้ยว) means sour. One of our favourite snacks (we wish we could send it) is ‘Sai Kok Biao’ – Sour Sausage. There’s something about sour foods that just tastes special.

Big Sheet Seaweed Chili by Tae Kae Noi

Probably the most common snack in the western world is a packet of chips. For Thailand it seems to be fried seaweed. You can buy it in countless flavours, shapes and sizes. We’ve decided to send you the Big Sheet variety, where that’s exactly what it is. A large single sheet of fried, spicy seaweed is in the packet. There are cute cartoon instructions on the back, explaining how to eat it (with a sumo wrestler, of course). Don’t be scared to try this! It’s delicious. Seriously. Just give it a chance, if not for yourself, for me.

Gummy Berry Cola & Fitnè Herbal Infusion

These were a couple of extra items that weren’t listed in the info email. The Gummy Berry are candies shaped like little berries and taste like cola. The Fitnè is a lychee flavoured herbal tea.

From Thai With Love + Coupon Code & GIVEAWAY – October 2014

The is a fun box! The boys and I had a good time trying these new snacks. We didn’t try all of them, specifically the Seaweed - been there, done that, and won’t do it again! I think the favourites were the Pocky and the Sunflower seeds. It’s hard to put a value on a box like this, but I think $14 is a fair price considering shipping is free. This subscription is a great way to try new and interesting snacks that you can't get here.
