A few weeks ago I received an email from ELLE Canada inviting people to register for their new free sampling program, the ELLE Canada Beauty Box. I literally gasped and registered right away hoping to be selected since there was a limited supply. I sat back and waited, then the other day I saw reviews popping up and excited people posting pics of their boxes. I got sad thinking I wasn’t one of the lucky ones, but low and behold the following day I opened my mailbox and there it was! Yay! I got one! Check it out!

Upon opening there was a product info card and a booklet put together by some of the brands in the box, called “Looking Glass The Lookbook”. Inside is a number of fall and winter trends with tips and advice on how to achieve the looks.

I've used the product before and while I can’t say I noticed a difference in my skin, it is a good moisturizer for the colder months when skin is drier.

Another product I’ve used before, but with these whitening strips you need to use it on a regular basis to get results and I always fail to remember to use it again after one treatment. Apparently they work well, so maybe this time I can remember to do it more than once.

Considering this was a FREE box I’m pretty happy with it! I think it’s awesome that ELLE Canada offered this to people. It’s a great way to test drive some of Canada’s top-name beauty products. I’m not sure how often they will send out boxes, but if you sign up for their newsletter or subscribe to the magazine you’ll be notified when the next box is available. Did you get a box?
