Date in a Crate is brand new, so I had no idea what to expect. The box looked great, I really liked the presentation.
The theme for this month is "Recipe for Resolution". Inside there is a newsletter that has a date of the month idea to find a recipe that sounds good to both of you and spend the night making a dinner together.

I have a passion for olive oils, so this is great! This oil has a deep, rich fennel and rosemary flavor and ends with a mild spicy note of red pepper. It is a wonderful dipping oil; great for drizzling and sautéing.

I like that each box will include a movie rental code. Make a dinner together, grab some wine and then watch a movie. I like having snacks like these on hand, but I wouldn't expect to see this in the box. I suppose these are to nibble on when you're watching movie? Either way peanut brittle isn't my favourite, but I like the cinnamon roll flavour.
I couldn't find prices on everything, but the value just doesn't add up to me. The box has a good overall theme, but I can't say you're getting a good deal here. It's too bad, hopefully future boxes will be better as far as value. If you do subscribe, make sure to use the coupon code.
