Each week there are 6 available recipes and you choose the 3 that you want. If none interest you or you just want to skip a week, you can do that too at no charge.
This is my third week with Culiniste and I can't tell you how much we love this subscription service! I really wish that the shipped to all of Canada so that everyone could enjoy them!

When the box is delivered to your home, it should stay cold for up to 48 hours. Food is packaged with insulated liners and ice packs, so it should be fine. I haven't tested this, but my box for this week came later in the day than usual and everything was still very cold. What's also great is that all the packaging can be recycled - nothing has to go in the trash!

Each delivery comes with beautifully printed recipe cards and step-by-step instructions.

Here's what we made last week:
Lebanese-Style Beef Shawarma with Fattoush Salad

Lebanese-Style Beef Shawarma with Fattoush Salad Ingredients
We love shawarmas, but usually have chicken, so we gave this one a try. It was pretty easy to make and didn't take long to cook. Honestly, I wasn't a fan of this dish, but the boys loved it! I did enjoy the salad that accompanies it.

Cheesy Mushroom Quesadillas with Homemade Tomato-Avocado Salsa

We also love quesadillas, but have never made them at home. It's another simple meal to make and it turned out great! The tomato-avocado salad was awesome! I think I'll be making this a lot this summer.

Piri-Piri Chicken Thighs with Sweet Mash ft. Plantains

Piri-Piri Chicken Thighs with Sweet Mash ft. Plantains Ingredients
This meal was delicious! The Piri-Piri chicken was so good, very tender and flavourful! We love plantains, but have never had them mashed, we usually slice and fry them, but this way was pretty good too. The recipe also had stewed collard greens which was a nice addition.

If you happen to live in one of the provinces Culiniste ships to, I highly recommend you check them out! The food is fresh and high quality and for busy families like ours, it's been very convenient having everything we need to make these new recipes and cooking more enjoyable!
