Coco Rocha Fancy Box Review – October 2013

As usual, I’m always excited to see the FedEx guy drop off my Coco Rocha Fancy Box. I had no idea what to expect this month since I haven’t seen any reviews, so I was very curious to see what was inside the box. Each month you’ll receive a box filled with some of Coco’s latest faves-things like jewelry, nail polish, tech products and other cool things. You never know exactly what’s coming till you get it, but one thing’s for sure: each Fancy Box will have more than $80 worth of stuff inside.

Cost: $39 / month + shipping $7.95 to U.S. or $17 to Canada

Coco Rocha Fancy Box Review

Call My Agent T-Shirt
$26

Haha! I love this shirt! You know for those days where you’re too busy to stop and chat. Let all those passers-by know that to get a moment of your time - they can call your agent!

Head Massager by Kikkerland
$15

I received one of these several months back in my regular Fancy Box. It really does feel good on your head. I think I will gift this one.

Emergency Break Glass Money Box
$15

Another funny novelty item. Add coins to the Emergency Break Glass Money Box at your own risk: only by smashing the glass can they be retrieved.

Satechi uCharger Hi-Speed USB Charging Adapter
$15

Charge gadgets faster. The adapter will charge most USB devices up to 2 to 4 times faster. It also allows you to charge your iPad on any computer. I definitely need this! I have no idea how it charges devices faster, but I’m going to give this a try and time it to see if it really does charge faster.

S.O.S. Emergency Kit
$30

There’s nothing worse than a fashion emergency! This kit includes all the tools you need to fix any kind of wardrobe malfunction or beauty bust that you could possibly run into. This is a must for big events and weekends away from your bathroom cabinet! This is great! I love all the things included in the kit. From a mending kit to La Fresh Wipes to Solemates (little plastic covers that go on your high heels to prevent them from sinking into grass and protect them from damage) and a whole lot more! Very convenient to have this kit on hand.

Ok, so here’s what I think of the overall box. I found it to be kind of peculiar. Usually it totally feels like Coco had a lot do with putting boxes together, but this time unfortunately, it feels like she didn’t have much to do with it. Some of the products seem appropriate to what you’d expect from a Coco Box, but I don’t know...even the info cards aren’t the usual personalized Coco Fancy Cards. I like the products, but there wasn’t that big wow item. Anywho (yes I said anywho!), this doesn’t change how I feel about the Coco Rocha Fancy Box. I still love it and think it’s a fun and exciting subscription box! Of course, if you feel this box doesn’t fit your style you can always check out all the other Fancy Boxes. Just go to the website and in the search bar type Fancy Box and you’ll see the other ones they have. I can’t wait to see reviews on the new Kelly Rowland Fancy Box. Has anyone gotten that one yet? Have you subscribed to any of the Fancy Boxes? What do you think of this subscription box?
