This is a cute little story by Corinne Demas and illustrated by R. W. Alley about a girl trying to make her own Halloween costume. After many ideas and a few wrong turns, she finally settles on a costume that will be perfect for a Halloween surprise with her cuddly kittens.

Little monsters everywhere will love singing along to their favourite campfire tunes in this howlingly fun collection with a gross and gory twist. Classic songs have been altered for optimal gross-out effect by the ghoulish Kelly DiPucchio and illustrated by the Master of Creep, Gris Grimly. Songs include "99 Bottles of Blood on the Wall," "For He's a Stinky Old Fellow," and the classic "Do Your Guts Hang Low?" So gather your creepy crawly friends and get ready to slither and slink and howl and stink!
This is a silly and fun book, but my son was a little scared by some of the songs. I'm not sure if it was the lyrics or the illustrations that frightened him.
Little Goblins Ten
From monsters to ghosties to goblins, everyone's favourite beasties haunt and howl and rattle their way through their forest home in this silly, spooky twist on the beloved nursery rhyme "Over in the Meadow."
The boys really enjoyed this one! The illustrations are lively, but not too spooky. It's written by Pamela Jane and illustrated by Jane Manning.
On a Windy Night
On a windy Halloween night, as a little boy makes his way home after trick-or-treating, he hears a voice: “Cracklety-clack, bones in a sack. They could be yours—if you look back.” As his heart flip-flops with fear, the boy dashes through woods and fields that seem full of haunting shapes—owls, ghosts, skeletons, and more. The detailed illustrations are packed with visual tricks for children to discover. Are those skeletons or cornstalks? Ghostly hands or tree branches? The playful tone of the text makes this a perfect, not-too-scary read-aloud, with an enjoyable surprise ending.
This is written by celebrated children's book author Nancy Raines Day and illustrated by George Bates.
BookCase.Club is such an amazing book subscription! It's very affordable and I absolutely love that the Read to Me Case comes with 4 good quality books! This is a fantastic value for only $9.99/month! With the other themes, you get 2 books which is still an amazing value. My boys thoroughly enjoyed each book and I'm sure these books will replace all others at least until Halloween! The only downfall is that they only ship within the US for now.
