Cake-Ology Raspberry Imperial Cookies
We received these in the August Bakers Krate. They're two shortbread cookies sandwiched with raspberry jam. I like the shortbread, but I'm not a fan of the raspberry jam.
Goodies Bake Shop Chocolate Brownie Square
You can't go wrong with a good brownie! This one is layered with decadent milk chocolate. Bakers Krate mentioned that the brownie might arrive slightly melted or moist. I cut a small piece and found it was a little too moist so I put it in the fridge and found it was much better once it was more solidified.
Goodies Bake Shop Peanut Butter Oat Square
An oat square topped with a smooth layer of peanut butter. I knew I wouldn't like this too much since I'm not big on peanut butter, but anyone who is probably will really enjoy it.
Cookie Girl Salted Caramel Cookies
These are one of the best cookies I've ever eaten from Bakers Krate and I'm so glad they included two of them! It's a rich chocolate cookie with smooth caramel on the inside, and sprinkled lightly with salt! I just love the combination of sweet and salty and the caramel in the middle wasn't too much! The cookie is somewhat soft, the chocolate is rich, and the salt just added that extra bit of deliciousness! Love these!
Cake-Ology Earl Grey Meringue
This meringue is flavoured with Earl Grey tea. They recommend eating it with a hot beverage.
This month's Bakers Krate had some new treats and some repeats. There was no cake-in-a-jar this month, but that's fine. I enjoyed the cookies a lot and was happy that they included two of each. The portions were generous and as always, it was fun to sample everything! Bakers Krate is working hard to bring their boxes to the US, so if you're in the US and want to be included in the first shipments, be sure to sign up on their website to be notified.
