The Summer 2017 FabFitFun is here! One of the most well-known and popular subscription boxes out there, FFF is one of my all-time favourites and it's the first box people mention when we talk about subscription boxes. Seriously, if I'm talking to a woman and we get on the topic of subscription boxes, every single time, the first box they mention is FabFitFun!
FabFitFun is a quarterly subscription box that sends fabulous finds in beauty, wellness, fashion, and fitness, hand-picked by the FabFitFun team, delivered once per season. Each box is limited edition and contains $200+ in retail value.
Cost: $49.99/season (USD) or $179.99/annually (USD)
Shipping: US - Free | Canada, Hawaii, and Alaska - $8
Coupon Code: FAB10 - Save $10 off your first box! (Applies to seasonal plan only)
Purchasing an annual membership will make you a Select member! Each season, they will email you before your order ships and allow you to personalize certain items in the box such as what colour of a certain item you'd like to receive based on the options that season. Annual Members also enjoy early shipping. This means boxes are shipped within 7-10 business days of the start of the priority shipping window.

I am loving the box design this season! It is designed by Libby Vanderploeg, an illustrator living and working in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Check out the newspaper style info mag!
There's a ton of info including what's inside the box and how to use the products, plus lots more.
Michael Stars Ruana
When I saw this in one of the first spoilers I knew this box was going to be good! I love it when they include a fashion item. This beautiful ruana is the perfect summer accessory! It's made of 100% viscose so it's super lightweight and can be worn many ways - as a scarf, sarong or draped over your shoulders. They were 3 colour/pattern choices. I love this black and white tie-dye print, but I also really like the other two prints - it was hard to choose.
It's hard to get a good pic of this, but here's how it looks on:
BKR Little (Rosy)
This is a cool looking glass water bottle that has a screw top cap. I probably don't drink enough water throughout the day and I doubt this bottle will change that. I have a ton of water bottles and still prefer to drink bottled water straight from the bottle it comes in so I don't really need this, but it's cute. Subscribers received either pink or blue.
Cargo Cosmetics Cargo_HD Picture Perfect Highlighter (Bronze)
I like to wear bronzer during summer for that healthy glow, but with my fair skin, I have to be careful which shade of bronzer to use. I think this is a great shade for all skin tones including mine. It has a silky, matte powder formula that has photochromatic pigments that adjust with the lighting to create a natural, yet perfected look in all settings.
Juice Beauty Smoothing Eye Concentrate
This is a moisturizing and smoothing eye cream with certified organic grape and carrot juices blended with essential fatty acids and Vitamins B5, C and P to hydrate eyes. Juice Beauty products are formulated without parabens or other nasty ingredients.
Kris Nations Mystic Bar Necklace
This pretty 18K gold overlay necklace has stones hand-cut by craftsmen in India. It's comes packaged in this cute glass bottle.
I received Peach Moonstone which provides strength, inner peace, and growth. Subscribers had their choice of three different necklaces.
Eau Thermale Avène Ultra-Light Hydrating Sunscreen Lotion
Sunscreen is a must-have all year round, but we need it most during summer. I am very particular about the sunscreen I use. Yes, it needs to protect my skin, but if it's greasy, has a strong odor, or doesn't absorb well, I won't use it. This one passes the test for me, so I'm pleased. It contains broad spectrum SPF 50+ UVA/UVB filters and is enriched with powerful and soothing antioxidant Avène Thermal Spring Water.
Understated Leather On The Road Again Travel Set
This passport holder and ID tag is made from vegan leather featuring printed lettering. I like the metallic gold and they feel like very good quality. This was a Choice option. Members were given the choice of traveler, artist, or chef, but the actual item remained a surprise.
03 Soothe and Cool Massage Oil
Another choice item, members got to choose fitness or beauty. This is the fitness item. At first, I wasn't too thrilled about it, only because I don't see myself using that often. It claims to be a post-training massage oil that provides a soothing and cooling sensation when applied. It has a base of sweet almond, apricot kernel, and jojoba oil to help skin retain moisture and improves the protective barrier function of the skin.
Vital Proteins Marine Collagen
This is the sponsored item for the summer box. It's an unflavoured, highly digestible drinkable collagen powder that can be added to any beverage, hot or cold, for a healthier complexion, bone and joint health, and overall digestion.
Overall, I'm very happy with this season's FabFitFun. It had all the makings of a pretty great summer box. Since there are variations of this box, the total value ranges from $272-$287.50. Easily, my favourite item in the box is the Michael Stars Ruana. I think it was an ideal item to include and it can be used different ways. I love the FFF is more customized now and if you're an annual member (you really should be!) you get even more benefits. In addition, all members get access to FabFitFun TV, where you can find tons of fitness videos at your fingertips.
