Luxe Box Subscription Box Review - Summer 2016
Luxe Box comes in a sturdy rectangular box that’s great for reusing. Subscribers can opt-out and just receive their products in this drawstring bag. This month I know I chose to get the box, but my products only came in the bag. Another thing is that there was no info card this time.
Pūr-lisse Blue Lotus 4-in-1 Eye Adore Serum
Enhanced with active ingredients like French marine plants, Matrixyl 3000 and Haloxyl bring 4x the power against aging in this intensive eye serum. This proven complex work together against wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness, while hydrating and lifting the delicate eye area. It has a silky texture which feels very nice when applied.
Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo
I've received this product a few times from other boxes which is fine because I like it. It's a good dry shampoo that has a nice scent to it.
Mirabella Pearls & Pastels Refreshmint Eyeshadow Pigment
A versatile pigment that can be blended from icy to mint, with either a wet application for bright colour with a sharper finish, or a dry application for a more pearlescent look. There's no way I'd wear this colour, it just doesn't go with my eye colour.
Morgan Taylor Professional Nail Lacquer (Wish You Were Here)
This nail polish is sort of a dull mauve shade. This picture doesn't do it justice, it's actually a nice colour that I'll wear.
Novex Brazilian Keratin Deep Conditioning Hair Mask
This is an enhanced treatment to restore smoothness and deep repair all types of hair. This product is enriched with Vitamin E and the most genuine Brazilian Keratin. My hair needs this, can't wait to try it!
Harvey Prince Organics Sincerely Body Cream
This is an intensely moisturizing and deeply nourishing blend of Shea butter and sweet almond oil, combined with extracts of French bergamot and South African freesia. It's infused with Harvey Prince Sincerely perfume.
Barefoot Venus Maple Blondie Lip Balm
This lip balm has lots of moisturizing ingredients that are 100% natural and Meadowfoam Oil serves as a natural SPF. The packaging is very cute! I find the maple scent is more of a winter scent though.
This season's Luxe Box came with 7 products. A few are full size and I will use most of the products, but I don't know...I just wasn't too excited with it all. I feel like for one, they messed up with the packaging this month and why isn't there some type of info card? The value seems to be there, so that's good, but for a box that only comes out every few months you'd think there would be something a bit more exciting going on. Maybe if there was some exclusive product or new brand featured I would've liked it more.
