How to Apply:
- Select the correct nail size for each finger; tab side aligns with cuticle.
- Cleanse natural nails with enclosed prep pad.
- Peel off backing to uncover adhesive.
- Align nail with cuticle.
- Press down firmly in the middle, then firmly on each side of nail. Apply thumb nails last.
- To remove, just peel off from the side.
My VoxBox included two imPRESS Press-On Manicures in Dancing Queen and Control Freak.
What I liked about them is they had plenty of different size options and had sizes small enough for my nail beds. They couldn’t have been any easier to apply - just peel off the backing and stick them on! Start off with doing your fingers first and your thumbs last. I missed that step and did my thumb first, but it wasn’t that difficult to get the rest on. I loved the nail length, they're not too long which is what I like and they actually look natural too. They don’t look like the old-style press-on nails. I only like to wear quick-drying nail polish, so the fact that there is no drying time is obviously a bonus! They feel very comfortable on, except my only issue is when I ran my fingers through my hair my nails got caught a little, but I think that’s because the glue hadn’t completely dried yet. I didn’t have that problem again later in the day.
They say that imPRESS Press-on Manicure can last up to a week when applied properly. So, how well do they hold up? Pretty good I’d say, considering my lifestyle. I have two young boys and am always doing things with my hands - cleaning up messes, toys, cooking, etc… I’m on day 5 of wearing the nails. If I had written this review earlier in the day then I would’ve said I have only had one mishap, but I had the nail on my index finger pop off today and the other index finger nail popped off on day 2. If you aren’t that hard on your hands, I could easily see them lasting a full week. Another important thing to mention is there was no damage to my real nails when removing the press-on nails.
Overall I really like imPRESS Press-on Manicure. It surpassed my expectations and would recommend them.
