Citrus Lane Review – November 2013

Citrus Lane Review - November 2013

So you must be wondering why I’m reviewing Citrus Lane since they don’t ship to Canada. And no, I wasn't offered a box to review either (although I wish they would ;). Awhile back Brandy from Mommysplurge and I decided to do an international box swap. She had wanted Topbox for quite sometime and would joke with me (beg me) about getting one. So we decided to send each other boxes that the other can’t receive in her country. I sent Brandy a Topbox which she was beyond thrilled with (you can read her review here). Brandy is at an advantage or possibly disadvantage because there are about a million more subscription boxes available to Americans compared to us Canadians and I want them all! I decided to swap her for a Citrus Lane Box. I think she thought that was boring, but we don’t get that many baby/kid boxes here and that one always looks good, plus I’m a sucker for cute baby stuff. So here it is, my very first Citrus Lane Box! Thank you so much Brandy!

Each Month you’ll receive a signature Citrus Lane box with four or more products selected especially for the age and stage of your child. You’ll discover new parenting solutions and trusted brands.

Cost: $29 / month, $24 / month for 3 month subscription, and $19 / month for a 6 month subscription. Shipping is free.

This is the November Box.

Good Boy Organics - Organicasaurus Baked Organic Corn Snack

A gluten-free, preservative and trans fat free, USDA certified organic cheese puff. Of course as soon as my son saw them, he of course had to sample them. You know - for reviews purposes. He completely approved them!

Bumkins - Reusable Snack Bags

Reusable snack bags that are an eco-friendly alternative to plastic baggies. I like the idea of these, but you have to wait for a few hours for them to dry after washing them.

Pur~lisse - Lip Comfort

I have to use lip balm on a regular basis during winter, so this will come in handy.

Green Toys - Stock Pot & Utensil Set

Well, I am surprised that not only did my boys really like this set, but were fighting over it lol. This will be good to use when they get their new play kitchen. Yes, even after Christmas I’m still getting them stuff. My 4 year old has been wanting a kitchen for a really long time, so I couldn't resist the amazing Boxing Day sale Indigo was having and got a play kitchen for $40!

Skip Hop - Zoo Plate

These plates are great! We actually don’t have one quite like this, so this will get a lot of use!

I totally loved the box and of course so did my boys! I don’t think I have to say it, but I would definitely have an annual subscription to this box if I could. At $19 a month, that is a sweet deal!

Have you subscribed to Citrus Lane? What has your experience been like with this subscription box?

Stay tuned, because I have another review coming up for another box that Brandy sent me. It’s for a Limited Edition Holiday Box and it’s gorgeous! Can you guess which one?
