Whimsy Mail & Putter Pails Review – October 2015

Whimsy Mail and Putter Pails is a Canadian subscription box just for tweens (ages 8-12). It was created by two best Friends since Grade 5 who’ve raised 6 children between them. They have always enjoyed shopping for unique, fun products and activities for their kids and when they got to the tween stage-it was often a struggle-with products being too young or too old. This is what inspired them to create Whimsy Mail and Putter Pails. They wanted children this age to have something of their very own. Each month is a new theme so that it is a brand new discovery every time!

Cost: 23.95/month

Shipping: Canada $4.95.

I reviewed both boxes last month and the boys still love their furry monster pencil cases! They had to bring them to school!

Whimsy Mail & Putter Pails Review – October 2015

Whimsy Mail is for girls and Putter Pails is for boys. Last month I focused more on the Putter Pails, so this time I'm going to spend more time on Whimsy Mail and show you the contents of Putter Pails at the end. (Both boxes come with similar items.)

The box had a playful Halloween theme. The info sheet said, "Open If Your Dare".

Mooshwalks Socks (Lola w/out Wings)
$14.95

How fun are these socks?!  I know they're for young girls, but I'm totally going to wear them! They're also fun for a Halloween costume!

Piggy Paint Nail Polish (Radioactive) & Gross-Out Goo! Ogre Snot
$7.99

This clear nail polish which is 3-Free and non toxic glows in the dark green! Very fun, I have to try it out! My boys couldn't get enough of the Gross-Our Goo! At first they obviously thought it was gross, but they love playing with it!

Fred & Friends Numskulls Cupcake Mold

These creative and hilarious molds will be great for Halloween! It's too bad only one mold was included in the box, but this will be fun for the boys! They did include a recipe to make vanilla cupcakes.

Halloween Pillowcase

This wasn't on the info card, but when we were kids we'd use old pillowcases when we went out trick-or-treating, I guess that's what these are for. I really like the print on this!

Whimsy Mail & Putter Pails Review – October 2015

Both Whimsy Mail and Putter Pails were equally fun boxes that have a great Halloween theme. I love the socks in both boxes! There's also a sweet treat and some items that make you laugh and say, "EWW!". I thought the value for each box was much better than last month's boxes, so this a plus! Both are boxes for young kids and my boys enjoyed them very much!
