Imaginary Authors - Memoirs of a Trespasser
This has notes of Vanilla, Smoky, Myrhh, Benzoin, Guaiac Wood, Amber, Woody, and Oak. It has a long longevity and high sillage (the degree to which a perfume's fragrance lingers in the air when worn).
Rancé 1795 - Le Roi Empereur
The fresh scents of lavender and orange flower, together with the green, aromatic overtones of anise, blend with amber and reunion cinnamon to create a symphony of intense accords in Rance Le Roi Empereur. Leather exalts the masculine character, whilst cedar and musk give intensity and persistence to the fragrance.
Ineke Perfumer - Chemical Bonding
Chemical Bonding is sparkling citrus combined with powdery softness of floral and musky notes. There is a smooth cocktail of citrus, blackberry and tea in the top notes. Dewy peony is in the very heart. The base is filled with powdery notes of vetiver, amber and musks.
Out of the 3 fragrances I think we liked Memoirs of a Trespasser and Chemical Bonding the most. My husband said Le Roi Empereur smells like something his dad would wear, not that that's a bad thing. I like that the info cards tell you which season that the fragrance is appropriate for and what time of day to wear it, along with the longevity and sillage. Scent Trunk is great for the man who likes to wear fragrances but maybe doesn't know where to start.
