Peekapak is a new subscription box and as soon as I heard about it, I knew it would be something my son would love! He loves his craft boxes and got very excited when I told him a new one was coming!

The theme for is box was Ocean Adventure and when you open the box, the first thing you see is the Welcome to Peekapak note. On the flip side there is grown-up information to guide you in the experience of the box.

So, you start with this book (which is very well done) and it starts off with an underwater adventure with the Peekapak Pals. The story teaches children about perseverance and giving, and is especially designed to include play-based elements, such as questions, sounds, challenges, problem-solving, and new scenarios.
Throughout the story is when the crafts come into play which I thought was a smart way to merge both aspects of this box. The crafts have detailed and easy to follow instructions and of course all the supplies are included.
First Craft: Ocean Lantern

Ocean Lantern Materials
Second Craft: Sea Turtle Hat

Sea Turtle Hat Materials
Third Craft: Two Octopus Toys

Two Octopus Toys Materials

We have completed the Octopus Toys craft and I had both of my boys involved in this one. Considering how much they wanted to take part in this activity, they really enjoyed it! We will finish the other crafts this weekend when we have more time, but we’ve been reading the Ocean Adventure storybook which has become our nightly bedtime book!
From the moment we opened the box I knew it was going to be a hit! If I find it fun as a parent, then you know your children will be totally in to it! Definitely a box to consider if you’re looking for a fun and creative way to spend time with your kids!
