ipsy Glam Bag Review – July 2016

ipsy is one of the most inexpensive and fun beauty subscriptions out there. I've been with them ever since they started shipping to Canada a few years ago. Some months are great and sometimes they don't do a good job matching my preferences, but I don't see myself cancelling anytime soon. I still look forward to it each month!

ipsy is a beauty subscription box that includes 4-5 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on individual style, beauty habits, colouring and preferences in a cool, new glam bag each month.

Cost: $10/month (USD)

Shipping: US – Free, Canada – $4.95

The makeup bag this month is cute, but a little too juvenile for me.

Vasanti Cosmetics Professional Eyeshadow Brush

Made with soft nylon bristles, this tapered eyeshadow brush is ideal for placing colour, highlighting and blending work. You can even use it as a concealer brush. I don't think I need anymore makeup brushes, but I like how this one is tapered.

theBalm Cosmetics Meet Matt(e) Trimony Eyeshadow (Matt Kumar)

This eyeshadow has a velvety smooth texture, triple-milled formula and true-to-pan payoff. Matt Kumar is a matte cranberry. I'm not sure how I feel about this colour yet, but I do love this brand and use their products often.

Eva NYC Get Glossed! Hair Serum

This hair serum is a lightweight styling treatment that adds radiant shine, tames frizz and fly-aways, and protects against heat styling. Hair is left sleek, frizz-free and glossy. You can use on damp hair to detangle and protect against heat styling, or on dry hair to seal the cuticle and add shine.

This mascara has a no-smudge formula that builds an intense lash look, while the exclusive slim double-fiber brush works to load from root to tip and ensure absolutely no clumps.

SHRAY Ms. Amazing & Queen Bee Masks

Ms. Amazing is a sensitive, dry skin, moisturizing mask. Queen Bee is a honey-infused, redness and acne-treating mask.

ipsy Glam Bag Review – July 2016

This month's ipsy had some products I like, like the mascara, hair serum, and makeup brush. I would've preferred to get something else instead of the sheet masks and eyeshadow, but it's a decent bag overall.
