Curiosity Box Review + Coupon Codes – May 2014

I really think Curiosity Box is a great subscription box for kids, but found this month’s box to be more for girls. Unfortunately, my boys had no interest in doing some of the crafts. The only one I could convince them to do is the Frog Sock Puppet and my son had interest in doing the plant, but he didn’t want to decorate it, because the decorations were more for a girl. I have no idea what kind of plant it is, but we recently planted flowers and he enjoys checking them out each day to see how much they’ve grown, so I know he'll like watching this one grow. I completed the Bracelet and Memo Board myself for review purposes. I'm surprised this box wasn't gender neutral, but to be fair these are crafts to do for mom. My other problem with this box is the instruction card, it needs to be more detailed with bigger pictures. Hopefully they’ll eventually change that. What is nice is there are a few other activity ideas on the flip side of the instructions card and they tell you what supplies you need. Even though this box didn’t quite capture my boys interest, it’s still a fun box.
