Black Dahlia Lacquer has just released two spring collections that include 14 polishes. Holo Petals is a 6-polish collection that includes three scattered holos and three linear holos, while the Leaf by Leaf Collection has eight polishes that include jellies, crellies, shimmers and cremes.
The nail polish came shipped a standard bubble envelope. Each polish was individually wrapped in bubble wrap.
Here are 3 of the new polishes:
Part of the Leaf by Leaf spring collection, Dandelion Explosion is a bright coral red-orange jelly with matte mustard yellow and orange hexes in a variety of sizes and a splash of hot pink matte squares.
Part of the Leaf by Leaf spring collection, Speckled Lilac is a pale lilac crelly with small matte mint hexes, light blue and aqua squares, periwinkle hexes and small metallic purple glitter.
Part of the Holo Petals spring collection, Moonlight Daisy is a bright royal blue scattered holo with blue, turquoise and silver micro glitter, red glass flecks and sapphire shimmer.
This was my first time trying Black Dahlia Lacquer polishes and I have to say, I'm impressed! I really like how vibrant the colours are and they applied very nicely and evenly. Both Dandelion Explosion and Speckled Lilac required 2 coats, but I found Moonlight Daisy to be a thicker consistency and you could get away with applying only one coat.
I think all 3 polishes are just beautiful! I especially love Dandelion Explosion and Speckled Lilac which are perfect for Spring, while Moonlight Daisy would be great for anytime of year. I love that the polishes are 5-free and dry quickly too! Black Dahlia Lacquer is a great nail polish subscription that's worth trying out!
